🍓 Strawberry Panna Cotta – A Creamy, Dreamy Dessert with Just 4 Ingredients! 🍮

Let me tell you about one of my favorite desserts Strawberry Panna Cotta! It’s sweet, fruity, and so creamy… but guess what? There’s no cream in it at all! I love this recipe because it’s healthy, simple, and only needs four ingredients. Plus, strawberries are in season, which makes this the perfect treat right now. It’s great for kids, fun to make, and super pretty when it’s done!

Method

Blend the Base 🍓

To start, grab your blender and add the sliced strawberries, thick yogurt, and honey. This combination creates the creamy, fruity base of our panna cotta. Blend everything until it becomes a smooth and silky mixture. You should see a lovely pink color and a texture that’s thick but pourable. If needed, you can scrape down the sides of the blender to make sure everything is well mixed. This step brings together all the flavor, so make sure it’s blended until there are no chunks left.

Get the Mold Ready 🥣

While the strawberry-yogurt blend is resting, it’s time to prepare your mold. You can use a small bowl, ramekin, or any container you like. Line the inside of the container with cling film this step makes it much easier to flip the panna cotta out once it’s set. Press the cling film gently against the sides so it sticks nicely and doesn’t wrinkle too much. Once lined, set the mold aside and move on to the next part.

Mix the Gelatine 🌡️

Now it’s time to work with the gelatine. Pour the sachet (12g) into a small bowl. Heat about 2 to 3 tablespoons of water until it’s very warm not boiling, but warmer than tap water. Carefully pour this warm water over the gelatine and start stirring right away. Mix it quickly and thoroughly until the gelatine has completely dissolved and the liquid looks smooth, not grainy. This is a very important step because the texture of your panna cotta depends on the gelatine being fully mixed.

Combine Quickly 🌀

Once your gelatine is smooth and ready, you’ll need to work fast. Pour the gelatine mixture straight into the blender with the strawberry-yogurt base. Don’t wait too long gelatine starts setting quickly when it cools. Use a whisk or fork to mix it all together by hand. This helps make sure the gelatine spreads evenly without clumping or sinking to the bottom. Once everything is well combined, the mixture is ready to be poured into the mold.

Pour & Chill ❄️

Carefully pour the blended mixture into your prepared mold. Try to do this gently so the cling film stays in place and the surface looks smooth. Then place the mold in the fridge. Let it chill for at least 4 hours, but overnight is even better if you have time. During this time, the gelatine will work its magic and turn the liquid into a firm, creamy dessert.

Flip & Serve 🍽️

Once the panna cotta has completely set and feels firm to the touch, take it out of the fridge. Place a plate on top of the mold and flip it over carefully. Because the inside was lined with cling film, the panna cotta should slide right out with a gentle tug. If needed, you can peel off the cling film slowly from the top. Now it’s ready to serve smooth, shiny, and perfectly shaped!

Ingredients

  • 200g strawberries, sliced

  • 200g thick yogurt (like Fage 5%)

  • 40g honey

  • 1 sachet gelatine (12g)

Directions

  • Blend the Base 🍓
In a blender, add your sliced strawberries, thick yogurt, and honey. Blitz it all until smooth and creamy.
  • Get the Mold Ready 🥣
Pick your container (any small bowl works!) and line it with cling film. Set this aside you’ll pour the mixture in later.
  • Mix the Gelatine 🌡️
In a small bowl, add the sachet of gelatine and 2–3 tablespoons of very warm water (not boiling!). Stir it fast and well until it turns smooth with no lumps.
  • Combine Quickly 🌀
Right after the gelatine is ready, pour it into the blender. Mix it in using a whisk or fork. Don’t wait too long or the gelatine might harden!
  • Pour & Chill ❄️
Pour your final mix into the prepared bowl. Place it in the fridge for at least 4 hours (overnight is even better!).
  • Flip & Serve 🍽️
When it’s firm and set, put a plate on top and flip the bowl over. Because of the cling film, it should slide out easily!

Notes

  • Don’t use cold or boiling water for the gelatine warm is just right.
  • Mix the gelatine in right away after it’s ready or it will start to thicken too fast.
  • Make sure your strawberries are ripe and sweet for the best flavor.

Serving Suggestions

  • Top with extra fresh strawberries or a drizzle of honey.
  • Add a sprinkle of crushed nuts for a little crunch.
  • Serve with a tiny mint leaf on top for that fancy look!

Fun Fact 🎉

“Panna cotta” means “cooked cream” in Italian, but this version uses no cream at all just thick yogurt. So it’s lighter and healthier, but still super tasty!

Conclusion

This strawberry panna cotta is one of the easiest desserts I’ve ever made and one of the prettiest too! It’s smooth like jelly and sweet like a strawberry milkshake. With just four ingredients, it’s a perfect go-to treat for busy days or special moments. I hope you give it a try and enjoy every creamy bite!
